     Godfried Cramer was born c 1702 in Nieuwenhuis.1,3 Godfried was baptized on 16 Jul 1702 at Neuenhaus. Sponsors were Jan Keller, Hendrik Krull, Anna Christina Spekmans and Vrouw Thesink.2 He (1) married Maria de Fremantijau, daughter of Hendrik de Fremantjou and Anna Soete,4 (banns 16 Sep 1728, Amsterdam. His witness was Bernardus Engelbregt; hers her father Hendrick de Frementjou.)1 He (2) married Johanna Catrina Vishoek at Amsterdam5 (banns 7 Sep 1753, Amsterdam.)5 He died in Jan 1778 in Amsterdam (Egelantiersgracht) in the house of his son Hendrick Cramer Godfriedsz.. Impost (ƒ3) was paid by Gerrit van Dijk on Jan 196,3, and was buried on 22 Jan 1778 in the Westerkerk Cemetery at Amsterdam.6,3

Other information: He lived at the time of his first marriage at the Rusland at Amsterdam. At the time of his second marriage he was living at the Agterburgwal.1,5
Godfried Cramer and Maria de Fremantijau had two more children, who were buried on 16 Apr 1733 in the English Church. Willem, Hendrik, and Alida Sophia were registered in the church book of the Doopsgezinde Church "Lam and Toren".7,8
     On 8 Jul 1739 Arnoldus van Sprang, for Arij de Vos and his divorced wife Johanna Hosting, with Willem Huysteen as her chosen guardian, sold a house and yard, located at the Cingel, at the corner of the Clarisse Cloister, where the sign of the 3 Pikes hangs, to Godfried Cramer. Godfried and his wife Maria sell this same house on 27 Oct 1745 to Jan Hendrik Haffman.9,10
     In the registration of his second marriage, his place of origin is listed as Zutphen.5
