     Grietje was from Wildervank at her marriage.1,2 She (1) married (NH) Berend Lubbers, son of Lubbert Berents and Trijntjen Jans, on 29 Nov 1733 at Wildervank.1 She (2) married (NH) Roelf Harmens, son of Harm Roelefs and Wendel Hindriks, on 7 Feb 1740 at Wildervank2 Roelf Harmens and his Grietje Jacobs made the following agreement on 18 Feb 1740 in Wildervank because they did not make a marriage contract. Those present and the witnesses are content with the goods they bring in, which will remain separate. Gain and loss will be shared half-half. Sons and daughters will have equal rights. When one of the spouses dies, if there are children from this marriage or not, the surviving spouse shall get to keep a childs-portion to do with what an owner is allowed to do. The rest shall be returned to the side they came from. Witnesses: Harmen Jans [Harmen IJans] and Geert Roelfs.3,4 She died b 6 Apr 1758.5

Other information:
     On 2 Feb 1740 Harm Freerks guardian), Hindrik Jacobs (related), and Geert Harms (not related), were appointed as guardians over the children of Grietje Jacobs and Berent Lubbers. On 12 May 1750 Hindrik Stoffers is appointed to replace the late Hindrik Jacobs6 Harmen Freerks is married to a sister of Berend Lubbers, Grietje's 1st husband; Hindrik Jacobs is Grietje's brother; it is unclear what the relationship with Geert Harms is, he could be a brother of Roelf, Grietje's 2nd husband. Hendrick Stoffers is possibly a brother of the 1st husband of Grietje's sister Wendel.
